BRG Kings Island Golf Course

BRG Kings Island Golf Course is the oldest golf course in Vietnam, located 45 km outside of Hanoi in the shadow of Bai Vi Mountain. Accommodation and full facilities are available. The Lakeside Course includes numerous and varied uses of the water surrounding the course and the gentle sloping terrain.

The BRG Kings Island Golf Resort is comprised of 3 Courses and a total of 55 holes situated on 350 hectares of land and surrounded by 1500 hectares of waterfront. The Lakeside course name says it all, with 14 holes bringing water in play and beautiful calming view across Dong Mo Lake. The Mountain View course leaves you with images you will never forget. The views of surrounding mountains leave you breathless and are the perfect backdrop to the Championship Course. The newest course is aptly named The Kings Course (19 holes). The majestic mountains and calming lake views accent this Jack Nicklaus II designed Championship Course. Jack Nicklaus II is President of the top golf designer firm Nicklaus Design by golf legend Jack Nicklaus.

Lakeside Course

The Lakeside Course is the first course to open in Hanoi in 1993 and has been the local favorite among golfers. The Lakeside course was designed by Golf Course Architect, Robert McFarland of the United States. Robert McFarland took full advantage of the property utilizing the undulating terrain, maximizing the calming Dong Mo Lake to incorporate challenging golf shots set amongst the lake front whilst meandering the layout through the natural forest on the island.

The course plays longer than the 6,516 posted yardage from the Championship tees and will continually challenge players of all levels. The TifDwarf greens require accurate play from the tight Bermuda fairways.

Lakeside Course is maintained by foreign experts and local staff to ensure the condition of the golf course.

Mountainview Course

The Mountainview Course was designed in 2004 by Pacific Coast Designs (PCD) based out of Australia and completed BRG Kings Island Golf Resort to become the first 36 Hole Resort in Vietnam.

PCD designed Mountainview Course takes full advantage of the majestic views of the Ba Vi mountain. The spectacular tree lined course plays to 7000 yards and immerses you in nature far from the noise of the Vietnam’s Capital, Hanoi. The Novotec greens surfaces are of championship caliber year round and complete this masterpiece.

Kings Course

The Kings Course (19 holes) is the newest golf course at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus II, President of the No.1 golf designer firm Nicklaus Design, a leading force in golf design worldwide.

Jack II was inspired by the beauty of the island and the existing courses. The front nine makes its way through the natural woodland and is considered and instant classic with numerous challenging holes. The back nine offers a superb challenge wrapped by large lakes.

The course and golf experience is concluded with a special par-3 19th hole, plays from a tee above a rock waterfall to an island green. Jack Nicklaus II opened the Kings Course in 2018 where he said; “This is my special gift to golfers in Vietnam.”

King’s Island Golf Resort and Country Club features a clubhouse with an excellent restaurant serving a wide range of cuisines. There is also a bar, which is a great place to relax at after your round. In addition to golf, the club also offers other activities including sailing and fishing on Dong Mo Lake, and swimming in the club’s olympic-sized swimming pool.

Restaurant

Step back in time in our most expansive restaurant, offering breakfast lunch and dinner. Situated on the top of a hill, this 4,770 M2 clubhouse will offer you the enjoyment of panoramic views of the golf course and its surroundings. Our local executive chief will amaze you with a menu which features hand selected beef from Australia and multiple items to select from countries such as Korea, Japan and Italy. Our legendary breakfast buffet is the best in golf; it also allows you to enjoy your favorite fresh fruits from the North and the South.

Capture your favorite memories of Kings’ Island with our exclusive line of logoed golf shirts from Pin High and Fenix. The Pro Shop offers an extensive list of items ranging from basic accessories to name brand items from Titleist, Adidas, Taylor Made and Callaway. Driving Range

If you feel a need to practice or warm up before your round starts feel free to enjoy our driving range. More than 250 yards long you can choose to hit balls from the mats or the closely mowed grass tee decks. To improve all aspects of your game, the range also offers target greens, a putting green and a bunker.

Locker Rooms

The Locker rooms will meet all your required needs. With more than 350 lockers and 30 showers you will have enough space and time to prepare yourself for golf, the sauna’s or the Jacuzzi’s that await you after your round. There is no hurry, simply rest and relax in a comfortable environment that we have prepared for you.
